Rebecca Rumors is the juicy gossip column that appears bi-weekly in the Camden Chronicles. Most of the time, her gossip comes from tips of Camdenites.

Named after the daughter of the founder, the Elizabeth Marlot Library is filled with thousands of books that pour into the genres of math, science, fiction, great literature, and more. Just remember to bring your library card and any money you may need to pay off those fines!

The giant auditorium reserved for presentations, speeches, the annual play, and more. It seats the entire student body and then some.

Most school cafeterias are famous for their stereotypical bad food, however at Marlot High they make sure that their students are happy and healthy, that includes having a full stomach. A fine array of fresh vegetables, and a healthy dose of junk foods, can be eaten at one of the many tables.

If you enjoy the old-time charm of milkshakes, hamburgers and fries, and soda pop, you'll enjoy Joe's Diner. It is one of the oldest establishments in Camden and resides next to city hall.

Camden's City Hall is probably the most quaint (and oldest) structure in the town. It has big, Georgian windows and dark bricks. The police and fire stations are situated inside, as well as the mayor's office.

Those with a love for plants and exotic flowers will really enjoy the Eden Botanical Gardens. There is an abundant variety of imported plants that will dazzle even the greenest green-thumb.

If you're coming from New York, or going to New York, you're probably traveling on the Metro Subway Station. It is one of the cleanest stations in American and boasts of its speedy schedule.

The Elmhurst Drive-In Theater has been around almost as long as the town itself. Classic movies are shown on the side of city hall, but only during the summer. There is a small concession stand that sells popcorn, soda, and cotton candy.

The mall, if you can even call it that, is a large, three-story building that has about 10 shops. Only about five are brand-name shops like Aeropostle and Hollister. If you prefer the classic mall-scenario, you can take the subway to New York City.

The Strike Zone is Camden's only entertainment complex, which includes a bowling alley and arcarde. It is located next to Joe's Diner, which provides fun and a quick bite to eat.

Hattie McPhearson, who studied culinary arts in Paris, opened up her restaurant a few years back. Ever since then it has been a big hit with the locals. It serves the best lobster and Hattie's homemade cake is absolutely amazing.

The beautiful and scenic part of Camden is home to Pine Ridge Beach and Campground. It is, in fact, the only public beach around for miles and it isn't uncanny to find lots of cars crammed in the parking lots on early, summer mornings.

Since Marlot High doesn't have it's own hockey rink unfortunately, the city allows it to use the public rink. Of course, ice skating can be done every weekend in the winter from noon until six.

Abshire, the bordering town, has graciously offered to set aside one acre of land in order for Camden residents to better enjoy nature and wildlife. It is open to the public and there are a variety of hiking and walking trails for you to enjoy.

The residents of Camden who enjoy dancing, singing, acting, painting, etc. will be pleased to hear about the opening of the Studio of Arts. Located in one of the tallest buildings in this town, it is a lovely place to practice your favorite hobby. There is also an art gallery that displays local artists' work.

The newest addition to the establishments in Camden, the Red Lotus Nightclub is one the hippest clubs in New Jersey. Every Friday a local band plays live music while the dance floor beckons to you. Only persons over the age of eighteen are allowed so make sure to bring that fake I.D if need be.

After a half a million dollar renovation of the public pool, the Camden Aquatic Center has been transformed into one of the best places to spend one's summer. There are waterslides and high-dives, along with various pools. There is also a kiddie playground.

The middle class residents of Camden live here. The houses are mid-sized with two car garages.
