As Newton's third law states, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. His theory was proven correct one again when Cooper, his hair dishevelled and a yawn halfway out of his mouth, looked over at his bed-side clock to see that it was flashing 12:00, indicating that there had been a power surge of some kind. Okay, so maybe the males reaction wasn't quite opposite or equal, but it was definitely a reaction. With a panicked expression, Cooper reached for his cell phone, only to find it dead. With more alarm, the boy bolted upright and ran out to the hallway and into the next room, where a clock hung on the wall. It read 3:30 PM. Coop's eyes got wide. How the hell did he sleep so long?
And of course, the room he ran into just had to be that of his sisters. Wearing only his boxers, she immediately covered her face with her blanket when she saw him. Cooper and his sister, Rayne, were sharing a house at the moment because neither of them could stand their parents without the other. The boy put on a grin as he realized that Rayne wasn't just taking a nap but hadn't been out of bed all day either. "You do realize that it's three in the afternoon, right?" He asked her, watching as she sat up slowly and stared at him, and then the clock. "Wow." Was all she said and then plopped back down on her bed. "Now get outta my room, perv."
Cooper made a face at her, and then walked out and back to his own room. He and his sister got along very well and were always joking with each other. However, thoughts of her left his mind as he stepped into his master bedroom's en suite bathroom, stripped, took a quick shower and then headed back into his room to find some clothes. All the while he was thinking of what he would do today. He had this strange urge to go to the club, like something was calling him to it. Either that or he just felt like getting drunk and dirty dancing. It didn't really matter why, though. So, with that in mind, Cooper picked out a plaid shirt and some dark jeans. He slipped on his converse shoes and was out the door to get some fresh air. He had four hours to kill before seven, which he decided was when he was going to show up at the club.
Coop took a walk and then went home, where his dog was whining in the backyard. He then took another walk, this time with Jack, a half wolf half husky mix who was only 8 months old and full of energy, so it was more a run than a walk. Once home, they had something to eat together out on the back deck and it was nearly time for Cooper to depart. He changed into a red plaid shirt instead of the blue one he had been wearing, because it smelled of Jack.
Cooper entered the club, his eyes adjusting to the low lighting and headed for the bar. He ordered a beer and peered around at the people who were already here and having a good time. He tried to find someone he knew but was having trouble doing so because everyone kept moving. Oh well, he'd find someone eventually or someone would find him.

She yawned and stood up to switch of the alarm and then she sat down on her bed thinking where she should be today. It wouldn’t matter to stay out till late at night because tomorrow is Sunday and she live all alone, so nobody will care and give her a long boring lecture.
Her phone rang and she reached out to her dressing table and read a message from her friend, basically from her hometown, who visited Camden for holidays. She would be coming over to Valerie’s house in the afternoon to have lunch together and she had invited her to the club at seven. How could Valerie refuse her own friend especially when they are demanding and anyways, she didn’t have anything to do that day.
She got into her bathroom, brushed her teeth and shower. She got dressed into a tee shirt and shorts. Just like any other home clothing. Anything not too fancy. It was just a normal friend coming over for lunch and she didn’t have to be dressed into something too complicated. While waiting for her friend appearance, she sat on her bed, reading a novel. She was reading halfway when the doorbell rang. It must be Sarah, her friend. She walked to the door and opened it. She gave her a hug and offered her to come inside.
They pretty much have a great time and at 12, precisely, they cook themselves lunch. It had always been a great time. They used to cook every time when they had sleepover. They were actually close friends and yes, they do hang out and spend their most of their time together. It was very fun. But now, since she had moved here and Sarah was back there in her hometown, they couldn’t spend any of their time together anymore except when they visit each other during school holidays. They do their hairs and make ups after lunch. They took some crazy photographs together and it’s already 6 in the evening and they must get dress and get going to the club already.
Valerie was then dressed into a stunning light blue dress, clutch bag, heels, bracelet, necklace and earrings. She sure looked stunning on that and she was totally blue that night. Her long, wavy, blond hair was way down to her chest. Valerie was taken by Sarah to the club in Sarah’s car and of course, they didn’t forget to bring their fake ID with them. They had already been in the club several times with their fake ID and they didn’t care. It wasn’t like any of their business and they were already young adults and mature enough to be there. They entered the club with their fake ID and Valerie looked around while Sarah was basically having her own time somewhere and anyhow, she won’t be going home with her because she was going straight home and Valerie was just going to the cab. She sat down alone in the bar, looking around. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - LITTLE DARLING, I FEEL THAT ICE IS SLOWLY MELTING little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - tagged; cooper! lyrics; here comes the sun by the beatles word count; 512 outfit; click here! notes; lalala.. credit; to brooke from caution

"Valerie Carlson! You sit here, right next to me, and pretend that I'm completely invisible. What the heck?" Cooper exclaimed as the pretty blonde female sat at the bar only a couple seats down from him. It was impossible to miss the stunning girl as she walked in with her blue dress flowing so beautifully around her. It was like she was going to a fancy ball, not just the Red Lotus Nightclub which sounded like some kind of bug.
As an afterthought to what he said before, Cooper grinned at Val and laughed. "I'm just kidding, girlie. And damn do you look gorgeous tonight." He told her as he dramatically eyed her up and down. He laughed a short laugh again, still grinning at her. He and Val had become good friends a while back, so it wasn't strange that Coop was joking around with her. He was kind of hurt that she hadn't said hi first, though. Perhaps she had been preoccupied or just simply didn't notice him.
Cooper was finished with his drink already, so he put it down and ordered another one, which came to him within a couple seconds. The bartender flicked the cap off and Coop took a good gulp of it. Might as well get crazy tonight, he thought. After all, tomorrow was Sunday, and nothing ever happened on a Sunday. Except if you went to church, which Cooper did not.
"So what brings you to the club tonight, Miss Illegal?" Cooper asked, smiling the whole time at the younger girl. She was only sixteen, and as the big sign at the front said, you had to be at least eighteen to be able to even come into the Red Lotus. However, twenty-one year old Coop didn't really care. After all, he had had his own fake ID when he was her age. And even if she didn't have one, he'd sneak her in. The girl looked older than she was so she could easily pass for being eighteen. Coop liked the little nick-name he made up on the spot for her - Miss Illegal - it made her sound... mysterious in a way. Well, whatever it was, the boy liked it.
The music in the club was loud, so when Cooper talked he had to basically yell at Valerie, so he scooted two chairs closer to her, so they were right next to each other. After all, he didn't want her to break her vocal chords just trying to say hi to him.

She hated to be all alone in this crowded place and she felt awkward. She didn’t know what reason Sarah had to get her to the club when she was somewhere else with probably many guys but not her. Well, she stared at the bar, sitting just as still as possible. She felt like she just wanted to go home right then. She was about to stand up and walk to the exit when she heard someone calling from quite a short distance. A guy and she was certain that she knew this guy as he sounded very familiar.
She turned and saw Cooper. They had met few days ago and yes, he is her good friend. Even though they were already good friends, she won’t be as crazy as times when she was around girls. “Cooper? I'm so sorry. I didn't notice you are there.” She apologized and gave him her guilty look and a small smile. Her smile was the sweetest and the best feature of hers and she flashed it to him slightly. He was a kind and humorous guy. She wasn’t sure whether to stay or told him that she wanted to leave now but still, she decided to stay for a little longer. After all, she had just arrived.
She was certain that she definitely looked awkward in that dress, but Sarah had forced her to wear it. She can’t deny that demanding friend of hers. She was shy as almost every eye was looking at her. She felt extremely weird. Sarah loved playing pranks on people and this was probably one she had planned. She hated to be in the centre of attention and she never wished to. The color was also so very eye catching. She needed to go somewhere less crowded with fewer people. The moment Cooper said that he was kidding, she smiled again. “I feel awkward, not gorgeous.” She said as she kept looking around her surrounding so people would at least turn their attention to something else but not her.
She looked at him as he was talking to her. And he just called her Miss Illegal? She didn’t even know since when she had that name. But yet, she didn’t want to be rude to him especially when he is five years older than her and she was pretty sure that he was joking. Of course she must respect the elders, right? “My friend asked me to come along with her and forced me to be dressed in this dress.” She told him, whispering in his ears as it was almost impossible to be heard in this noisy club. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - LITTLE DARLING, I FEEL THAT ICE IS SLOWLY MELTING little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - tagged; cooper! lyrics; here comes the sun by the beatles word count; 454 outfit; click here! notes; this post isn’t that bad right? credit; to brooke from caution

Cooper stuck out his tongue as Valerie told him that she hadn't seen him there. So he was invisible, good to know. He rolled his eyes a few seconds after and laughed, to show her that he was just joking. He narrowed his eyes at her when she said she felt awkward. How could she feel awkward, the dress was stunning and the blue accessories just added to the glam. "Don't you ever say that again. You are gorgeous, trust me." He said with a slightly sloppy grin. His drinks were getting to him, making him a little more outgoing than normal (which is pretty hard to do, seeing as he's very outgoing as it is).
Cooper continued to listen to why Valerie was at the club that night. Her whispers tickled his ear and raised the little hairs on the back of his neck. Why? He didn't know. Maybe it was just the way her breath was so warm and there was a slight draft coming into the room from somewhere. It was a bit chilly outside.
He laughed, grinned, and said "Well, then I'm glad she asked you, because it's super awesome to see you again." Yeah, Cooper could be such a suck-up at times. But hey, when a pretty girl was in sight, which guy didn't like to compliment her a bit?
Just then, a really upbeat song started playing and everyone on the dance floor seemed to get a little more active. Ton's of couples had basically turned into one person because they were so close together and some of the more whore-ish girls were dancing incredibly dirty like they were at some sort of strip club. "So, Valerie, do you want to dance?" He asked, gesturing to the dance floor with all the bright strobe lights.

He had always been kind to her and joked around with her, although she didn’t talk much around him. But then, he was still a very close friend of hers and she loved the way they are. Valerie had many tons of friends from many different schools she moved to, but she was never used to have a very close guy friend like Cooper. Even though many guys had tried their best to talk to her, usually there will be very least of them that would actually be her friends. Like Cooper, she remembered being very shy and quiet around him when they first met.
She nodded her head slightly when he asked her never to say that she felt awkward. However, she answered back to him in a friendly manner. “Wait. But why? I really felt that way!” She smiled to him. The club certainly was crowded today. She could see man with many girls at once and girls acting like a slut to any men they could see. She sighed. She had always hated sluts because it just shows that they couldn’t find any better things to do than being a slut and acting so sluttish. But Valerie cared no more for them. It’s their life after all. She turned her attention back to Cooper.
When Cooper laughed, she gave him a friendly fake laugh. “Haha! Are you kidding me? I even thought of calling the cab and go back home before I noticed you were there. If I haven’t notice you around, I might have already taken the cab” She said and then looked him in the eye and gave her smile to him.
The club turned noisier as the DJ played a really loud and upbeat song. She soon started to see everyone turning to their partners and everyone started to dance on the dance floor. And before long, Cooper had already asked her to dance with him. Dancing is something she was bad at. It was her weakness. She only could do simple dances, but not like anything she saw in the club that night. The slutty girls were still attracting those guys and dancing just like the way they were acting. The guys were also dancing around those girls as though they were being entertained by them, which is true. “But I can’t dance. Maybe you could ask some of them to dance with you, instead.” She said to him pointing at those girls. “And I could go home.” She said and sighed, looking at the dance floor. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - LITTLE DARLING, I FEEL THAT ICE IS SLOWLY MELTING little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - tagged; cooper! lyrics; here comes the sun by the beatles word count; 436 outfit; click here! notes; its okay. xD credit; to brooke from caution

Cooper rolled his eyes at the girl, although he couldn't hide his smile. Just because she already felt that she was awkward didn't mean she ever had to feel that way again. "Such a beautiful girl like you shouldn't ever have to feel awkward." He told her with a sharp nod of his head to show her that he was being serious. It wasn't very often that Coop was serious about something, but when it came to people not feeling good about themselves, he always felt he had to tell them just how amazing they really are.
A fake gasp sounded from Cooper as Valerie told him about almost leaving before he had gained her attention. "Well, I'm definitely glad that I caught your attention then." He said, leaning against the bar with his elbows and looking sideways at her. Without her here, he probably would have left soon too. Especially when he noticed that all the girls there, and the guys too, were all wasted beyond their imaginations and would all probably end up in Vegas with a blow up barbie doll beside them. The girl's dancing wasn't even that good. They all looked like Britney Spears or Lady Gaga wanna-be's. Talk about pathetic.
Cooper made a face when Valerie said she couldn't dance. How could she not dance? Everyone could dance, even if all they could do was the macarena or do the actions to that song that goes "put your left foot in and shake it all about", which Cooper was pro at. "Oh come on!" Coop said, about to give her the puppy look, but then she continued on. His eyes got wide. "No way! I only want to dance with you. They all look like whores begging to be fucked." He said, his look going serious once again. "You're not going anywhere. We don't have to dance if you don't want to." Although Coop would have really liked to dance with her, he wasn't going to ditch her or let her go home this early.
