She smiled as she looked through it and watch all the snow on the ground. It is winter and Valerie had always loved and enjoyed winter all her life. She got off the internet after she had done instant messaging her new friend, she suppose, Harlow. She seemed to be a nice girl and Valerie would be even more delighted if she could hang out and meet her face to face. They had planned to meet in the park. Being unsure of all those directions, she decided to head to the park earlier so she would arrive in the park on time although she might lost her way, went the wrong way and kept stopping so she could ask people for direction. It wouldn’t be much problem for her, because she had always been able to communicate with anyone. She got dressed into a simple black tee and white skinny jeans.
She put on her boots and jacket. Not the thick ones, because she wouldn’t feel cold that easily, after all. She walked out and could see smiles on almost all the children’s faces. They were all happily hanging out with family and friends. Some were playing snow outside their houses. She smiled to each of them. She asked the people living next to her the directions to the park. She had got them noted in a piece of paper and all she had to do was to follow the direction given.
Valerie made her way to the park. It’s not that crowded and there were ice all over the benches. A bitter wind blew, causing her to pull his jacket tight. It was nice to be out in weather like this. It was so cold that the forecast called for snow. It had actually been a long time since Valerie was out in the park. She had always been to the park only when she needed somewhere peace and quiet as she had always hated to in a crowded places. But she had always been outgoing and she now didn’t see the need for her to be out in the park. But as she had arrived here, she felt how nice and relaxing it was to be here again. She looked around for Harlow. She just realized at that moment that there was no way to find Harlow as she had never even seen her before. She thought that taking sign with her name written on it would even be a better idea. But anyways, she was already here and there were nothing else she could do.
Valerie took one last look around the park and sat on a bench. The snow was less on the bench she sat on and she didn’t care about anything. There must be some other way to find Harlow. She kept thinking hard. Or maybe, she hadn’t arrived. Well, Valerie decided that she would took a seat there for a while before she went looking for Harlow again, which was impossible to her. Snow had started to fall gently and she loved snow everywhere on her. She smiled and closed her eyes. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - LITTLE DARLING, I FEEL THAT ICE IS SLOWLY MELTING little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - tagged; harlow lyrics; here comes the sun by the beatles word count; 527 outfit; click here! notes; bad one. credit; to brooke from caution

stretching out her legs she inhaled a deep breath as she closed the screen of her laptop. standing up she moved towards her closet so she could find something warm to change into. she was heading into the winter wonderland that was supposed to be outside. she loved the snow and everything but at the moment she wished it would disappear and not come back for a good week or so. she just wasn't in the mood for anything pretty.
picking out a pair of jeans and a neon green fitted shirt she smirked. grabbing her jacket she headed out the door. she didn't tell her father were she was going because she had way to much on her mind at the moment. so being eighteen she just didn't feel the need to tell him everything that was going on in her life.
the park. it was nice, just as she remembered it six months ago, but without the snow. she smiled to herself. then the thought dawned on her, she had no idea where to meet valerie since the park was such a large place. she just walked around, her hands tucked in her pockets and her eyes set on finding someone that looks like she knew, though in reality she really didn't know that much about valerie, nope not that much.
she walked around for a minute, asking a couple girls if their names were valerie or if she knew them. its so funny to see her walking up to a total stranger and being all sweet and everything only to be pushed away. anyhow, she came up to a bench with a girl on it, pretty she was. a gentle smile plastered on her face as she gave her efforts one last try.
' sorry to bother you, but would your name be valerie? ' she asked kindly. harlow was rarely rude to anyone unless they were rude to her. she waited quietly for a response.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -LITTLE DARLING, THE SMILES RETURNING TO THE FACESlittle darling, it seems like years since it's been here- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Valerie took a deep breath as she listened to the chirping of the birds and the wind blowing. But in this case, the wind didn’t help much. It has just increased the coldness and remembering that Valerie had only worn a simple thin jacket made her shiver a little. She saw a girl approaching to her. She was pretty, gentle and kind. “Oh yes, I am. I guess you are harlow?” She said in her usual sweet and gentle voice and she flashed the girl her friendly look and her smile. Her smile was probably the best feature of hers.
Boys were usually attracted by her smile, but she was always bad at guys but she made a super good girlfriend for anyone which made her end up in a long relationship. She gets quiet around boys and she wasn’t like any other girls who would flirt with a total stranger. That’s not a kind of girl Valerie is. She tends to take everything slow.
She moved aside so there will be space for Harlow take a seat. “Go ahead, have a seat” She offered the girl to sit. Right then, she started thinking what it the girl wasn’t Harlow. Then, she gave it another thought. If that girl wasn’t Harlow, it wouldn’t be a mistake to know her. In fact, it would be a pleasure to know her. Friends they would be, but of course, Valerie still needs to know her more.
Valerie had always be nice to almost everyone she knows and she wouldn’t have much problem with them and she hardly have enemies because she treated all her friends nicely and not rudely. She will never ever be rude to anyone, even though the person might be rude to her. But if that’s what happen, the simplest way for Valerie was to ignore that person although she hated to be called ignorant, she just would not go into fights and be rude because she hated herself to be like that. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - LITTLE DARLING, I FEEL THAT ICE IS SLOWLY MELTING little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - tagged; harlow lyrics; here comes the sun by the beatles word count; 335 outfit; click here! notes; (: credit; to brooke from caution

' yeah. ' she said softly to let valerie know it was her. she was glad to have found valerie cause she was going to give up and head home. but of course she'd rather be out just doing nothing then sit in a house full off busy people. harlow loved to be busy at certain times in the day but when it was only mid afternoon she just wanted to relax. for her the morning was a rushed time but now that everything she needed to get done that day was done she just wanted to shop or watch a movie.
sitting down she smiled. ' thanks. ' were the soft words that slipped from her lips. 'so where'd you move here from? ' she asked valerie. harlow had pretty much lived here her entire life. except moving to new york for a few months and then heading out west to attend a boarding school. she fought with her parents both times, trying to get them to change their minds but her screaming and crying were not wanted and only made matters worse. her mother thought the friends she hung out with made her a bad teen and that she had never once mouthed off to them before, which she had indeed.
' you wanna walk around or something? ' she asked. harlow loved the cold like anyone around here but sometimes it was just too cold. so walking or heading somewhere warm would make her happy anytime. when she needed to think she never really noticed how cold it was outside, which she needed to think alot lately. she had been by herself for the past couple days, moving herself back into the house and painting her room. she was tired of pinks so now she decided she would go with teals and white. her personality hadn't changed she just couldn't stand living in a room that had been painted for her when she was three years old.

She nodded slightly when she said yes. The girl seemed rather fun and Valerie thought that they would get along quite well with each other. They seemed to have much in common, but then she just knew her. She’s a complete stranger to her. But that doesn’t make her feel scared or anything because that’s who Valerie was. She talked to strangers for almost every day because that’s the only way for her to know new people aren’t it? And yes, that’s what brought her up to be one girl who can socialize with anyone and everyone. A girl who has many friends.
“San Francisco” She said simply and shortly. Her mother would always scold her for socializing with almost everyone. The bad and the good. It was all because she wasn’t picky of whom to be friends with, but she was glad for who she was because if she would be picky, she probably wouldn’t have any friends because it was certainly hard and difficult to find someone like her. But she’s basically cool with anyone except that she has only one weakness. She couldn’t get all fun around boys. She would automatically be those quiet and shy girl, which is certainly unbearable because there would always be some random boys who came up to her and talk. Her friends often tell her to start being used to get around boys because boys won’t stop from getting near her cause she’s attractive, pretty and sweet. She didn’t believe them because she didn’t feel herself attractive. She always thought that her looks was just like any other ordinary girl.
“Yes, I’d love to” She said and smiled to the girl as she stood up and started to follow wherever she walked. Both Valerie and Harlow would make great friends because she loved being around her so much, but she wasn’t sure if Harlow would feel the same thing. Well, looks like everything needs time. She would just let the time decide then. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - LITTLE DARLING, I FEEL THAT ICE IS SLOWLY MELTING little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - tagged; harlow lyrics; here comes the sun by the beatles word count; 345 outfit; click here! notes; short! sorry. credit; to brooke from caution
